Day 1
| Rio de Janeiro

  • Arrival in Rio de Janeiro, meet & greet at the airport & transfer to your hotel.
  • Rio de Janeiro is more than just a vibrant city culture or cool coastal beaches.

  • One of the most beautiful places in the world, Rio de Janeiro is known for its carnivals, samba dances and not to forget, serene beaches. It is also abundantly blessed with natural attractions.

 

Day 2
| Rio de Janeiro

  • Breakfast at the Hotel. Two of the most famous sights in Rio de Janeiro are at your fingertips on this day-long tour.
  • Sugar Loaf and Corcovado Mountains, including the impressive Christ Redeemer statue overlooking the city should definitely be at the top of your list, and Gray Line rio de Janeiro is the perfect guide for your day.
  • First thing in the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken through downtown Rio for a panoramic tour.
  • See the Sambrodome, stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral and discover the Cinelandia Square and its wealth of historical buildings.
  • The Municipal Theater, National Library, and National Museum of Fine Arts are all on your way as well as you head toward toward the Urca neighborhood, home of Sugar Loaf Mountain.
  • Ride the iconic cable cars all the way up the mountain, stopping at Urca Hill and its vantage point overlooking Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niteroi bridge and Corcovado mountain.
  • Finish your ascent to the top of Sugar Loaf, enjoying gorgeous views of the Copacabana beach and Santa Cruz Fortress.
  • Enjoy a lunch before you head over to the base of Corcovado Mountain via the Cosme Vehlo Train. Ride through the lush and dense Tijuca rainforest to the towering Christ Redeemer statue.
  • Standing guard over the city of Rio, the statue has a fascinating history—your knowledgeable hometown guide will share all the secrets with you before you head back to your hotel.
Day 3
| Rio de Janeiro

  • Breakfast at Hotel. This is a different and unique walking tour designed to give you a feel for the legends and stories woven through the narrow streets and old historical buildings of downtown Rio.
  • The walk includes a visit to many interesting points, such as the São Bento Monastery, Candelaria (the candle-makers), Praça XV, the “Travessa do Mercado”, Imperial Court, the cultural centre located in the beautifully-restored Banco do Brasil, the House France-Brazil, Ouvidor (the listeners) Street and Gonçalves Dias Street with the traditional Colombo Bakery.
  • The walk continues on down Uruguaiana Street, Carioca Square up to the Metropolitan Cathedral where passengers will meet the transportation that will take them back to their hotels.
Day 4
| Iguazu Falls

  • Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight (on own) to Iguazu Falls. ARRIVAL FLIGHT MUST BE BEFORE 11:00A. Reception at the Airport.
  • Transfer to your Hotel. Then pick up from your Hotel Lobby to go to the Brazilian side of the Falls, located 24 kilometers from downtown Foz do Iguaçu.
  • Arrival to the Visitors Center, at the entrance of the Iguassu National Park, about 10 kilometers from the city center.
  • After passing through the Center, the visits continue, now inside the National Park, along a paved road that will take us to the magnificent Iguassu Falls.
  • There, happens the walking tour along the catwalk measuring one kilometer of easy hike.
  • Along this easy trek, there are several gorgeous panoramic views of the Falls and other main falls.
  • At the end of the tour we will all meet back up for transportation back to the hotel.
Day 5
| Iguazu Falls

  • After Breakfast, early in the Morning, get your cameras ready because a memorable experience awaits you as you explore this natural wonder of the world. The 200,000 year old falls span across the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay and are known to pour over 400,000 gallons of water a second onto the rocks below!
  • We will travel outside the city of Iguassu to the national park where we will spend the day exploring the falls and learning about the history and culture.
  • We will explore the three tiers of the park to see the falls from different vantages.
  • The lower path leads to the base of the falls where the intense crash of the falls releases a thick mist into the air.
  • The upper path leads to incredible panoramic views of the falls from an extensive footbridge, also an unforgettable experience.
  • You will be guided throughout the tour but will have lots of free time to take pictures, enjoy the nature and see the falls at your own pace.
  • At the end of the tour we will all meet back up for transportation back to the hotel.

Day 6
| Salvador

  • After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Salvador.
  • Arrival in Salvador, reception at the Airport. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 7
| Salvador

  • Enjoy this guided city tour of Salvador, home to beautiful Baroque-style architecture.
  • After pick up from the hotels, we head to Santo Antonio da Barra Fort, built in 1536 to protect the Bay of All Saints. 162 years later it gained a lighthouse to guide the boats coming to the coast, the “Farol da Barra”, which still works to the present day.
  • Then we will visit São Diogo Fort, from where you have an incredible view of All Saints Bay.
  • We will pass the Corridor da Vitória, Largo do Campo Grande (one of the circuits of the carnival), and 7 de Setembro Avenue.
  • From there we will continue our tour to the Pelourinho (Historic Center of Salvador), stopping at Municipal Square which has a panoramic view of the Lower City (Lacerda Elevator, Commerce, Salvador Harbor and Mercado Modelo) and stop at Sé Square, a place that keeps ruins of the first Basilica of Brazil located next to Salvador’s first Archbishop’s Palace.
  • We continue the City Tour towards Largo do Pelourinho, where there is the Rosário dos Pretos Church and the Jorge Amado House Foundation.
  • We head to the São Francisco Church and Convent, considered one of the most unique and rich expressions of Brazilian Baroque.
  • Then we will have a stop for a delicious lunch buffet with tasty local food.
  • After lunch we will start the panoramic tour through the Lacerda Elevator and Modelo Market with stop for shopping.
  • Then we will go to the Church of Our Lord of Bonfim (Most Devoted Saint of Bahia), take the opportunity to tie your ribbons with 03 wishes and make your prayers.
  • We will meet the new Orla da Ribeira and you will have the option to try the eccentric flavors of the famous Ribeira Ice Cream. Have you ever tried tapioca ice cream? From there, we will visit the Mont Serrat Fort (Important 17th Century building) where we will have one of the most beautiful views of the city of Salvador.
  • We will continue to the Dyke of Tororó with 08 sculptures of the most important Orixás of the African Religion, the work of Baiano Artist Tati Moreno.
  • Take a panoramic view of this place and of the modern Fonte Nova Soccer Arena.
  • Finally, return to the bus that will take passengers back to their respective hotels. Church entrance fees are not included.
Day 8
| Salvador

  • After breakfast pick up from your Hotel Lobby and transportation to the airport.
